About Us

We have two therapists here at Spark Educational Therapy ready to help your child on the road to success through Educational Therapy. We go through extensive training and are equipped to provide this therapy through our training with NILD Canada.

Diana Rolston BBM MST

Professionally Certified Educational Therapist (NILD)

Homeschooling my three sons gave me a deep appreciation for how God has created each of us so uniquely.

While educating them at home, I received my Masters in the Science of Teaching and trained to be a Professional Certified Educational Therapist with NILD (National Institute of Learning Development).

As an educational therapist, it’s my role to help students unlock any barriers to learning so they reach their full potential. I’ll encourage your child on his journey to being an individual thinker and life-long learner.

Julia Mulder

Professionally Certified Educational Therapist (NILD)

I’ve always known I wanted to work with children. As a Carleton University graduate (BA in Child Studies and Communication and Media Studies), I was looking to expand my knowledge and abilities to help others. I took NILD graduate courses and am an NILD Educational Therapist.

My experience has taught me the importance of looking at every child holistically, while fostering growth that will last him a lifetime. I love the outdoors, especially if it means I can bring a cup of tea with me.

Victoria McGregor

NILD Educational Therapist

I am a certified teacher with a background in a variety of classroom and individual learning environments. I’m very excited to be stepping away from the classroom to pursue my passion for offering alternative learning support to all children, especially those seeking an approach to learning that differs from the traditional learning environment. I am passionate about lifelong learning and helping students discover their full potential.

Aside from teaching, I am a mom to four young children with a variety of learning needs, which keeps me on my toes!

Lisa Bucknell

Learning Coach, Tutor

I find great joy in encouraging and cheering others on, even when transformation may be subtle and slow. I delight in seeing abilities explode; the ‘haha moments’ are so powerful and well worth the wait. I am very passionate about working with young people to make permanent, life-altering transformations resulting in self-assured and confident lifelong learners.

I hold a BSc in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Wilfrid Laurier University and furthered my studies at the Toronto Institute of Medical Technology, where I graduated as a Diagnostic Cytologist. I worked in my chosen field for a number of years before I decided to stay home when I became a mother. I have recently completed a number of NILD workshops and plan to continue to further my education.
